The Philosophy
We believe true strength is built through purposeful movement, the kind that supports mobility and longevity, not just aesthetics. Whether through the artistry of aerials or more traditional strength training, the goal is the same: to move better, feel stronger, and build a body you feel comfortable in.
Studio 22 was founded by Victoria, whose journey began at 27 with no fitness background. Within a year, she progressed from being unable to perform a pull-up to performing aerials professionally. That experience shaped a training philosophy grounded in body awareness, and respect for individual biomechanics. As someone who is hypermobile, she learned first-hand that strength must be built with intention and that understanding how your body moves is just as important as how much you lift or how advanced a skill appears. This approach is the foundation of Studio 22.
We believe it is never too late to start. Our purpose is to create lasting change, whether your goal is to build strength, develop a new skill or simply move without pain.
The Space
We set out to create a completely bespoke space that feels intentional, refined, and unlike any traditional gym. Every element of Studio 22 has been carefully considered: from purpose-built, engineered equipment to visual and audio design that inspires movement, focus, and creativity.
Located in one of Vancouver’s landmark buildings , the studio offers expansive views of the skyline and surrounding natural landscape.
We believe environment matters and having a completely private and inspiring space doesn’t just elevate your training, it helps you focus on your goals, whether that is strength, artistry, or recovery.
